  3. To implement the Montessori philosophy in a prepared environment by using Montessori equipment and the Montessori approach to learning as taught in AMI training programs.
  4. To provide an environment suited to children's needs in which each child has the opportunity to progress at his/her own level of development.
  5. To maintain a happy, pleasant atmosphere in which the child can absorb information and find joy in learning.
  6. To offer opportunities for socialization within the framework of respect for and cooperation with others.
  7. To help each child develop self-confidence and an awareness of his/her own individual capabilities.
  8. To encourage independence by emphasizing self-motivated learning and choice making.
  9. To provide environments for children that support and supplement their home life by fostering each child's independence, security, self-esteem, confidence, physical development, social interaction and self-realization.
