A Day in the Life of an Elementary Student (2nd Grade)
This is just one example of a day in the elementary. Every day is different. The children are following their own interests, working alone or in groups, and being gathered for lessons. They do not work a pre-determined schedule, but rather are allowed to follow the interests that inspire them. The teacher is always there, however, to ensure that time is being used responsibly and that all areas of the curriculum are being explored.
